Bläsinge meadows is one of Klippan municipality's most valuable bird areas and is of great importance for breeding, resting and wintering wetland birds. The area is flooded almost annually and serves as a resting place for various ducks and waders during the spring. Breeding birds in the area include brown harrier, kestrel, redshank, lapwing, yellow wagtail and grasshopper warbler, which performs its swirling song at dusk.

If you drive from Klippan towards Östra Ljungby there is a sign, "Bläsinge ängar", which shows you the way. Drive towards the meadows and stop at the former railroad between Stidsvig and Åstorp. A nice observation point can be found on the railroad bridge. Here you have a good overview of the area without disturbing the nesting or resting birds. Nearest bus connection: Line 510, stop Östra Ljungby/Bläsinge Ängar
