Beskrivelse
The trail starts Alvastra and first follows the Alvastra – Borghamn stage along the eastern side of Omberg.
After less than 1 km the trail splits. To go clockwise, choose the left path. A steep section leads through the beech forest up the mountain to a gravel road, where you soon reach an opening in the forest with a designer shelter, built as part of the ARKNAT 2023 project, on the slope. The views are stunning. There is a dry toilet and barbecue area here.
The trail continues through beautiful coniferous forest and then back along the foot of the mountain to the car park at the starting point.
