Skällviks borgruin

On a small hill next to Yxeltorpaviken, west of Stegeborg, you will find Skällvik Castle ruins. An exciting place with an irregular collection of building remains with intermediate wall remains, a gate to the east and remains of a baking oven. Thanks to the non-profit association Skällviks Borgs Vänner, the castle ruins have been made accessible with stairs and cleared paths. The association works actively to bring to life and promote the preservation of a piece of Swedish history. The castle ruins are located in a pasture with beautiful landscape views towards Slätbaken and Stegeborg's castle ruins.

The detour from the trail is about 300 meters one way.
