Enjoy the sounds of the forest in the valleys of this hilly forest area dominated by old conifers. Fine lakes open up the forest in several places and if you feel like taking a dip, there is a swimming spot at Gransjön. At Stora Namnsgölen there is also the opportunity to swim and to rest and enjoy in a shelter with a barbecue area.

**Important information: In Rödgölen, several spruce trees have been damaged and died due to infestation by the spruce bark beetle, especially in the western part. These standing dead spruces become brittle, break off or fall over. Pay extra attention during windy and rainy weather. This is when the risk of falling trees is greatest. For your safety, be especially careful when passing through areas with dead spruces.
