Öringsafari i Kärsbyån 2012

Kärsbyån is one of the few reproduction areas for trout on the eastern side of Lake Vättern. The association Motala Flugfiskare has restored the river since the beginning of the 1990s. Several tonnes of gravel and pebbles have increased the water speed and the conditions for trout spawning. Today, about 30 fish wander up the river every autumn and play.
