Orrnäs kulturstig

In connection with the Orrnässlingan trail, it is possible to make a detour along the Orrnäsån river via the cultural trail. There are several ancient remains worth discovering!

The Orrnäs cultural trail also highlights how small watercourses were very important as sources of power for the emergence of industrialism in the 18th and 19th centuries. Marvel at how the local people, with the simple tools of the time, were able to create extensive buildings in such inaccessible but fascinating nature.

Along the trail, which is about 600 meters long, you will pass two mills, a sawmill and a smithy. The trail runs along stairs and footbridges where it is possible to sit down on a bench or stump.
