Beskrivelse

Kärna mosse is one of the county's most famous limestone bogs. The reserve is located at Malmslätt and consists of an open marsh surrounded by coniferous and deciduous forests. The bog has an impressive diversity of orchids.

By public transport, you can reach the area by bus 6 towards Malmslätt. From the Kärna kors stop, it is a 500 meter walk east along Gamla Ledbergsvägen to the southern entrance of the reserve. By car, turn off Malmslättsvägen at the Malmslätt intersection and follow Kärnavägen towards Malmslätt. 200 meters after the train bridge, there are signs to the right towards the southern entrance.
