The trail starts at Varuhuset in Rönneshytta and takes you via gravel roads to Karstorp. You continue through cow pastures and eventually come down to Åmmelången. Then the trail passes by Vena minefield. Feel free to stop to look at all the slag heaps and mine holes that testify to the hard working life during the time when the mine was active. The heyday of mining in Vena was during the 16th century.
