Approximately 200 residents. Included in Laxå municipality. There are several companies in Röfors. A big factory manufactures pellets for heating of houses. Laxa Bruk produces among other things acoustic products, was founded in 1643 and has a history of working with timber and hydropower which Tiveden provided abundantly, to produce iron.
Just outside Röfors there is a natural swimming beach at the lake Västra Laxsjön. Several auktions are organised during the year.
