Beskrivelse
The second stage of the Post Trail takes you from the mill town of Sävenfors through managed forests up to Sassalampi, a crossroads most easily reached via the road between Sävsjön and Silken. The trail moves through forests of different ages and past several clear-cuts. Here the hiker can clearly see what a monoculture looks like with straight lines of trees of the same height and age. The route is hilly in parts and quite demanding.

Water: Bring drinking water with you to the start. The streams offer water that you can filter or boil. A bit into stage 2, approx. 300 meters at Finnbo, there is a well.
