Beskrivelse
In the little nature reserve Stråkanäsberget there is rich flora. The mountain itself reaches 65 metres a s l and extends in an east-west direction the reserve. The forest here is productive with plenty of the -growth aspen and other deciduous species on the slopes. Here you also find exposed bedrock, mires and waterlogged forest. The area is 1.5 square kilometres in size.

Kommunikasjon
The nature reserve lies about 6 kilometres southwest of Kalix town centre, at Lake Norra Renträsket. Turn off the E4 at Stråkanäs and then drive about 3 kilometres. After the last farms, and as far as the reserve, there is a gravel road which is maintained by a road maintenance association. The road ends at a turnaround.
Veibeskrivelse
The nature reserve is located about 6 kilometers southwest of Kalix at Lake Norra Renträsket. The best way to get to the reserve from the north is to turn off the E4 about 4 kilometers before Kalix at Stråkanäs. After turning off, it is about 3 kilometers to the reserve. After the last farms and up to the reserve, there is a gravel road managed by a road association. The road ends in a turning circle.
Forskrifter
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- hike
- camping
- make a small fire with loose branches and twigs
- picking berries and edible mushrooms
- driving snowmobiles on well-snow-covered ground
- fishing and hunting in accordance with applicable laws
It is not allowed to damage plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!

not accessible winter time by car! 👎🏼
Hi Rostam Z and thank you for your input. Many of the small, private roads in Norrbotten county, where no one lives permanently, are not accessible all year round. Unfortunately it is impossible to know how every road is managed, so we can almost never inform about the conditions during winter. I hope you found another nature reserve to visit!
