Beskrivelse
Discover Åsnen, starting at the main entrance of the national park. Here there are exhibitions, information and maps, as well as lots of experiences. From a lovely wooden deck, you’ll have a view of the lake and its islands, inlets and water. Trails lead on to Bjurkärr, which is one of the most valuable hardwood forests in Sweden. Song thrush, stock dove and lesser spotted woodpecker will accompany you on your walk. In spring, you can sometimes here the call of the great bittern from the reeds in this area. You’re welcome to enjoy this national park all year round.

To reach the main entrance Sunnabro, which is one of the two entrances to the national park, follow one of the directions below:
Road 23 from Växjö to Huseby, continue via Torne-Vrankunge.
Roads 27 and 29 from Blekinge and road 120 via Tingsryd - Urshult - Sirkön.
Roads 23 and 29 from Skåne - Älmhult to Huseby - Torne - Vrankunge.
From the parking lot you reach the entrance through a flat, winding path that goes down to the water.
