Påhittiga entreprenörer och flitiga arbetare – ljudvandring

Embark on your own city walk in the center of Älmhult and listen to the stories that await. The tour includes five stops where you get to discover resourceful entrepreneurs and diligent workers who have made an impression in Älmhult:

• The exhibition that put Älmhult on the map
• Circus Lassa Adolfi lays the foundation for Folkets hus
• When the king's war chest disappeared - or was saved - in Älmhult
• Gotthard's world of scrap and opportunity
• The workers at Elme glassworks - a child's longing for the adult world

All the stops and stories are linked to sites of cultural and historical value in the municipality's cultural environment program and have been part-funded by the Kronoberg County Administrative Board.

The map shows suggestions on how to connect the five stops if you go on foot, but you can of course take any route you want. If you want to cycle, that's fine too, it just requires a slight detour at the Gotthard stop.

Take a pair of headphones with you and go to the "Listen to Älmhult" page to listen to (or read) a story when you reach a stop.
