A walk that takes you on a journey through time and space, bridging the past and the present. Along the walking path, you’ll find artworks, all featuring motifs painted by the artist Sven Ljungberg.
The artworks are placed approximately where Sven painted them, depicting how the different locations looked at the moment he created them. The walk covers about 2 kilometers.
SVEN LJUNGBERG (1913-2010) was a painter, graphic artist, professor, and author, residing in Ljungby throughout his life. In his art, he documented the city’s development over 75 years. Ljungby officially became a city in 1936, and it’s remarkable that an artist could capture a city’s evolution over such an extended period.
