No advanced equipment or much to pack is required. With a little preparation and simple basic knowledge, the meal outside will be fantastic! It is also said that food tastes better outdoors. This fireplace is located right at the edge of the lake Åsnen and right next to it you can spend the night in a wind shelter and take your excursion to the next level.
You cannot reach this place by car. You must walk or bicycle here on the old railway embankment. Either from Ulvö in the north or from Toftåsa in the south.
Think of...
- the outdoor access rights when you are out in nature.
- to take the trash home with you or throw it in the nearest bin.
- stricter fire bans may apply. Always check if something like this applies before you go out to grill at a fireplace.

Hello Blossom! I'd say it is approximately 1500m from Ulvö in the north where you can park a car. Enjoy and respect the nature :)

You are right, this place is not accessible by car. You can walk or preferably bike from Hulevik in the north or from Toftåsa in the south along the old railway to get here. I will add this to the description. Best regards, Johan
