Grevaryds äng naturreservat

The nature reserve was established in 2024 by Växjö municipality and is located just south of Lammhult's community. The purpose of the reserve is to preserve the high natural values and promote outdoor life and nature experiences. The area has high natural values, mainly linked to the well-kept wooded pastures. The flora is rich in parts, with a number of red-listed and rare species, including various orchids. The tree values are also high in the form of the old oaks. The variation in the tree layer also contributes to the biodiversity of the area. The farmland in the northeastern part is important for species associated with open landscapes and biotopes such as stone walls and edge zones. These fields also have cultural-historical values as they are important remnants of the older agricultural landscape in Lammhult. Welcome to 20.3 hectares of invaluable nature.
