Ängsäppelodlingarna vid Ellenäs

Take the opportunity to visit this beautiful place with a view of lake Åsnen. Ellenäs fruit farm is a meadow fruit farm located 1 mile north of Urshult. The cultivation is managed by the Almén family, who have run the cultivation for generations.

Their apples and apple must are for sale on the farm in both large and small packages. The farm grows both older apple varieties and newer varieties such as Gravensteiner, Åkerö, Lobo, Signe Tillisch, Gul Richard, Ingrid Marie, Aroma, Urshults Kungsäpple, Katja and Discovery etc.

At the far end of the peninsula there is a nice lookout point and if you come here by car, you can park by the barn, and then walk out onto the peninsula.

Welcome to visit but respect the cultivation by not picking fruit, burning or littering. A meadow fruit farm is a unique cultural landscape of which there are few left in Sweden. Usually the apple trees are in full bloom in the month of May.
