Beautiful views, birdsong, a world heritage site, mills, Sweden's highest lighthouse, beaches and cosy picnic spots. Always with the sea as your nearest neighbour. Yes, the reasons to cycle on Öland and cycle the Ölandsleden trail specifically, are many. If you're looking for a real challenge, you can cycle the whole trail, but otherwise you might as well pick out specific parts and make your own routes based on your interests.
