Färjestaden Runt

This is a tour that everyone can join. A small tour for the whole family - old and young - with at least three opportunities for ice cream and coffee stops, which means both bribing and enjoying, depending on age.

This tour starts in Färjestaden harbor. Here you will find a number of shops, restaurants and cafés of good quality. While you're here, you can also keep an eye out for kite surfers sailing across the strait like colorful exclamation points. The bicycle ferry between Kalmar and Öland - Dessi - also stops here.

We start pedaling north with the Öland Bridge in the background to our left. If you cycle here in the evening, you can expect a spectacle as the sun sinks into the sea. After just under a kilometer you pass the Paradise Workshop with its fantastic ceramics and café. The tour then continues through quiet residential areas to Ölandschoklad's main factory where ice cream and chocolates of the highest quality are produced. Soon we come to Grövle and the new, flowing technology and MTB track that has been built. This will easily become the kids' favorite. We then make our way down to the sea and roll through Talludden where there are great opportunities for swimming, mini-golf and ice cream before we are back at the cozy harbor again.
