Dämmens aktivitetscenter

Dämmen is a natural area centrally located in Kristdala. The area is being developed into an activity center for both young and old - a meeting place where sports, activity and movement are at the center. The community association leases the area from Oskarshamn municipality. At Dämmen there is an activity center that is open all year round. There is lighting with a timer as well as a barbecue, picnic tables and benches to sit on, so feel free to bring coffee and something good to grill in the barbecue hut.

The following activities are currently available at Dämmen:

Disc golf course with 9 holes - under construction but playable

Multisport rink with target cages

Boules courts with scoreboards

Small skate park

Basketball hoop

Sledging slope - on snow with new lighting

Ice rink for hockey and free skating - flushed in cold weather

Barbecue hut - Everyone is welcome to use the barbecue hut. You can use wood or charcoal for grilling. We assume that everyone who uses the barbecue hut does so responsibly and does not leave the place with open flames. In order for it to be a pleasant place to come and grill, it is incumbent on each visitor to take care of their own garbage.

Good to keep in mind!

Throw rubbish in the bin or take it home and throw it away. Do not leave lights on longer than necessary. Vehicles are only allowed on the dams at selected times. Respect everyone using the surface.

Dämmen is a place for wellness and recreation, a place that encourages spontaneous sports and activity.
