Borstingen

Just outside Vimmerby towards Frödinge is Apollostugan and our municipal bathing area in Lake Borstingen. A smaller bathing area with a two-bridge section with associated gangway and bathing ladder to get up. Borstingen is a spring lake with clean, fine and usually slightly cooler water.

A small parking lot with 15 parking spaces is available at "Apollostugan" in Vimmerby. Once at Apollostugan, you go downstairs to get to this scenic bathing area on the outskirts of Vimmerby. There is also another way down to the water without stairs.

The bathing area in Borstingen is sometimes shared with several Canada geese. Please be kind to the animals.
