Cykelled, Vidöstern Runt

An easy but long route. The cycle route goes directly south to Tånnö, along Lake Vidöstern. You can enjoy good food and spend the night at Toftaholm Herrgård. There’s a nice swimming area at the southern end of Lake Vidöstern. Having passed the beautiful old whitewashed church in Vittaryd, you’ll reach an old maze on the right side of the road. Why not stop and try and solve this old puzzle.

The route continues along a winding ridge before entering the forest. From Hånger to just north of Åminne you’ll ride on the old, disused Skåne-Småland railway line, which has been converted into a cycleway. The route is not signposted, but you can use the map in the mobile app to stay on course.
