Västra Vätterleden etapp VV7 Fagerhult - Hökensås - En del av Smålandsleden

The trail follows good paths and easier forest roads. Comfortable shoes are recommended. Västra Vätterleden is marked with orange color on trees, poles and arrows. The trail follows flat sandy plateaus and ridges with few height variations.

The stage offers an unusually easy hiking experience in a beautiful landscape dominated by pine moss, soft ridges and a string of wonderfully velvety blue, calm forest lakes. The lakes have planted noble fish, which provides a unique opportunity to combine hiking with fishing.

The stage works well as a quieter full-day trip and can also be combined with connecting stages for those looking for a longer excursion.
