Perennparken och Lagunen

The park area behind Kulturhuset and up towards Sanatorieskogen in Sävsjö is called Perennparken. But here you will actually find many small parks in one.

The park is managed by Sävsjös Trädgård with a strong focus on biodiversity. Thanks to its sheltered location, the pond and the river, the park offers many different kinds of environments where different species can thrive.

There is the Lagoon, a small pond with an island that you can walk out on. On the shore, there is a hut with a sedum roof where you can look out over the water and get protection from the elements.

Pedestrian and bicycle paths through the park are suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. You are close to the city center, the Sockerklara playground and the Sanatorium Forest.
