Höglandsleden etapp HÖ22 Skillingaryd - Åsafors - En del av Smålandsleden

At the edge of Skillingaryd is Grönelund, which is the trail entrance for HÖ22 towards Åsafors or Byarum.

You walk here along paths and gravel roads through the Småland forest. You pass the farm Bissefäll along the trail, here lived and worked “”Bissefällarn“”, a woodcutter whose collection is in Skillingaryd's town hall.

There is also a high standard cottage here that can be booked.

A little further towards Åsafors you also pass Kylås Vildmarksby which is located by Kyllesjön, here you can also book accommodation in the charcoal huts.

In Åsafors you will be close to the highway if you want to get back by car.
