Tylösand - Halmstad C, Hallandsleden

The walk starts at the iconic beach of Tylösand, where you can see the famous lifeguard tower that stands as a symbol of safety and security. From here, the path leads you out onto Tyludden, a scenic headland with stunning views of Tylön and its famous four-kilometer sandy beach. With fresh sea breezes and sweeping views, it's a perfect start to your hike.

As you continue your walk along the coast, you will pass several picturesque bays. First, you'll come to Tjuvahålan, a small bay that became a landing place for smugglers in the late 18th century. Take the opportunity to take a break and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Next stop is Svärjarehålan, a charming and peaceful bay that also offers an accessible swimming area.

Further along the trail you will reach Grötvik, a place with a rich stone-cutting history. The old quarries give a unique character to the area. There is a picturesque marina, a wake park and an art museum dedicated to Walter Bengtsson.

After Grötvik, you pass the Brottet swimming stadium, a popular place for both swimming and recreation. Large concerts are also held here in summer. Near Brottet is Alets nature reserve, an area that offers a quiet and peaceful environment with rich flora and fauna. A perfect place for nature lovers to explore and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Now approaching Halmstad, follow the trail along the Nissan River. It takes you past Halmstad Castle, a historic 17th-century building that provides an insight into the city's rich history. You'll then cross the castle bridge, which offers stunning views of both the castle and the river.

At Halmstad travel center, the stage ends or starts. From here you can easily get on by train and bus.
