Haverdal - Tylösand, Hallandsleden

Along this stage, you'll get a great mix of scenic landscapes, beautiful beaches and exciting nature reserves.

From Haverdal's northern beach, the walk in the dunes goes through one of Halland's oldest nature reserves - Haverdal. Here you can experience Lynga sand dune which, at 36 meters above sea level, is probably Sweden's highest sand dune. To protect the dunes from sinking, stairs have been built up to the viewpoint where there are benches to rest on.

You then pass Vilshärad, where the trail runs along an old coastal road before turning off again towards the flat beach at Ringenäs. The trail continues along the beach meadows at Frösakull and on towards Tylebäck, an idyllic place where you can enjoy the peaceful nature and perhaps take a break at Nyrebäcken, which meanders beautifully through the dense swamp forest. The stream plays an important role in the local ecosystem by contributing to the water supply and creating habitats for fish, birds and other animals. During spring and summer, various bird species can often be seen nesting along the banks of the stream, and in autumn the area is particularly beautiful with its colorful foliage.

Finally, you'll reach the well-known Tylösand beach, one of Sweden's most popular beaches. Here you can end your hike with a relaxing moment on the beach, perhaps with a picnic or a dip in the sea.
