Beskrivelse
In Storhagen, nature has taken revenge. Here, old meadows and pastures have grown back and created a magical forest with high natural values and great experiences.
Storhagen is a small but very varied forest reserve. The eastern part of the area is covered by old and dense coniferous forest with many trees over 150 years old. The forest has been used as grazing land for hundreds of years and careful forestry has been practiced. This has given rise to a rich flora. You will also find a large number of unusual fungi such as spider and thorn fungi.
In the eastern part of the reserve there is also a hazel grove with large hazel bushes that are probably very old. A stream, Anerån, flows through the reserve in a north-south direction. The foliage increases the further west you go. In the far west there are late-growing ash, older oaks and hazel, and aspens. In this part of the reserve there are also some older house foundations. Around the foundations of the houses grows the unusual grass, the common knapweed, as well as other heath plants such as under-violet, horsetail and long fescue.
A 2.5 kilometer long hiking trail runs through the reserve.

Forskrifter
For everyone's well-being and to maintain the reserve's natural and cultural values, it is important that all visitors show consideration. In addition to the right of public access, it is not allowed to:
- drill, hack, blast, carve, dig, paint or in any way damage rock, soil or stone, or to relocate or remove stone
- drive a motorized vehicle
- intentionally break branches or otherwise damage any living or dead tree or shrub
- damaging, picking or collecting plants, fungi and lichens
- climbing trees, staying near a bird of prey's nest, lair or burrow, collecting animals or otherwise deliberately harming or disturbing wildlife
- putting up a board, placard, poster, sign, carving a track or making an inscription
- making an open fire. However, field kitchens or barbecues may be used
- use recorded sound in a disturbing way, or use it to attract birds or other animals
It is forbidden without the permission of the County Administrative Board
- use the area for organized competitions, exercises, camp activities or similar
- collect animals, plants, fungi or lichens for scientific or other studies, or otherwise damage or disturb plant and animal life for these purposes.
