Decision on temporary access ban in the nature reserve Tvärstupet. The County Administrative Board of Dalarna County decides, pursuant to Chapter 7. 5 § last paragraph, and 30 § of the Environmental Code (1998: 808) that it is forbidden for the public to move within the boundaries of the reserve during the period March 1-31 July 2022-2026. Signs with this information will be placed adjacent to the boundary of the reserve and the paths leading to the reserve.
Beskrivelse
Tvärstupet is the south-western slope of Laggarboberget down towards Tvärstupstjärnen. In the rocky root of Tvärstupet there is a stand of lime and hazel, as well as other warm-weather plants such as goat's rue, black bracken and kingcup. Tvärstupet is a so-called southern growth mountain. A south-facing mountain is a mountain that has a side facing south, east or west.
Tvärstupet is an approximately 50 meter high vertical fault with large boulder fields below. A fault is a surface along which a block of rock has moved relative to another block. The block is raised, lowered or moves laterally. The difference in height between the highest and lowest parts of the reserve is about 150 meters over a distance of about 500 meters.

Parkerade vid bommen och gick grusvägen+slingan inne i reservatet, totalt cirka 7km. Bitvis slårig och brant stig, fin utsikt. Om jag måste välja så åker jag hellre till Bispbergs klack.
