Beskrivelse
Turbine house built in 1996 by Norrbärke Hembygdsförening.
The turbine house is located in the Nyberget mining area.
The Nyberget field began to be mined in the 1600s and operations continued until 1965. From Nyberget there was a narrow gauge railroad via Kärrgruvan to Morgårdshammar where reloading to standard gauge railroad took place and from where the ore was transported to mainly Avesta Ironworks.
In the area there are mine holes with scrap stone, foundations and transportation routes where the forest has reclaimed the land.
