Beskrivelse
The hike to the cave goes through the Jätturn Nature Reserve and follows trails through mighty forests with rocky outcrops, meadows and beautiful lakes.
The cave has been formed by weathering in the limestone. The walls of the cave are carved with initials, the oldest of which date from the 17th century.
There is a boat in the lake (during the summer) that everyone can borrow, so that you can row over and into the cave.
Just be careful, bring your own life jacket and moor the boat properly afterwards.

Parkering
Parking is available at Lake Tunsan, Bråfallsvägen, signposted from road 635 between Smedjebacken and Borlänge.
NOTE! Do not take the forest road south of Pollackssund as this is a private road, with unauthorized motor traffic prohibited.

In the reserve it is not allowed to...
- drive a motorized vehicle or motorboat,
- make a fire. Exceptions apply to fires in the charcoal hut and on the fire stool next to the charcoal hut,
- fishing,
- damaging dry trees or other sources of wood, for example for fires
- damaging, for example by inscriptions, the rock walls inside or outside the cave.

Trevlig utflykt. 3 km promenad till grottan om man parkerar vid skylten "Här slutar allmän väg". Det finns även några parkeringsplatser om man fortsätter ytterligare 1 km.
