Hundhagen runt

Hundhagen Nature Reserve is an old industrial area that has become a natural paradise. A lush deciduous forest now grows around the old water-filled or damp clay pits.

The short round trip around Hundhagen is an easy hike through the deciduous jungle. It is flat and sturdy wooden bridges take you to where there is water. Information signs, benches and picnic tables are placed at several places along the way. Take the opportunity to sit down and just be in nature for a while.

The sound experience during spring and early summer is as close to a rainforest as you can get in our area. Especially when both frogs and birds are on the move in early spring - then the area feels really exotic!
