Beskrivelse
The farm consists of about ten buildings that have been moved here from Floda parish.
The collections include about 1350 objects. Among these, homes and households, hunting and fishing, handicrafts, textiles and costumes dominate. A dozen dolls dressed in the different colorful variants of the Floda costume are faithfully placed in the main building.
Right next to the old farmhouse in equally beautiful surroundings is the popular Hjort-Olars café.
Dala-Floda also has the restaurants Flokullornas and Byns skafferi. Ica and fuel pumps are centrally located. Around Dala-Floda there are a number of attractions, hiking trails, canoeing, rafting, the Perjons Foundation's beautiful paintings and not least Wåhlstedt's farm with sales of vegetables and bread. In the summer there are also several flea markets to bargain in.

At the back of the old farm there is parking for Gammelgården and the adjacent popular Hjort-Olars café.
Veibeskrivelse
Follow the E16 to Dala-Floda. Either take the industrial bridge or the wooden bridge at the church over the river. If you cross the wooden bridge, turn left about 400 meters and you are there. It is also possible to park at the church and walk across the wooden bridge to Gammlegården.
