You can walk the entire Sundborn trail that starts at Bondes Gård in Sundborn (28 km) or choose Råbergsslingan (18 km) which is part of the Sundborn trail and starts from the bandy rink at the Karlsbyhedens Folkets Hus. The trails are marked with blue color on trees, stones and poles. In addition, there are arrows with the name of the hiking trail. At Råberget there is a wind shelter that provides the opportunity for overnight accommodation. After the top, but before the well you pass one of Rupstjärns Byalag restored and partly newly built charcoal hut. Here is the opportunity to cook coffee.
The trail is easy to walk with the exception of the terrain around Råberget, which has a steep climb. Boots or hiking shoes are recommended, as there are some wet parts, mainly around the Råberget. Bridges and footbridges are found over streams and marshes.
Karlsbyhedens OK manages and is responsible for the trail.

Fakta
Sundbornsleden is well marked with blue paint on trees and poles and wooden signs. It is recommended that you walk Råbergsslingan clockwise.
Karlsbyhedens IK is responsible for the trail.
At Karlsby fäbodar it is possible to cross over to Lostigen and thus extend the hike by another two miles.
Parkering
If you intend to hike the whole trail, it is good to park at the guest parking opposite the station in Sundborn. If you only choose Råbergsslingan there is parking at the Karlsbyhedens Folkets hus, at the bandyplan.
Kommunikasjon
Take bus 237 to Sundborn. Get off at Grånäsvägen stop.
Veibeskrivelse
Choose to walk all the way from Sundborn (29 km) or start in Karlsbyheden (20 km).
From Sundborn, follow Ramsnäsvägen east from the center and then turn south on Karlborn. After 200 meters, turn left and then follow Årbergsspåret.
In Karlsbyheden you will find the trailhead and map at Folkets hus.

Trivsam led som är enklast att hitta om man rör sig medurs. Vi sprang moturs och då kunde vissa korsningar vara lätta att missa. Stigen var ganska tydlig, till och med trots en pågående avverkning mitt över leden.
