Vandring till Toppstugan i Lajksjö

Hike to Toppstugan on Hemberget in Lajksjö.

From Lajksjö föreningshus there is a hiking trail up Hemberget and to the cozy, newly built top cabin. In clear weather you are offered a fantastic view of Lake Lajksjön and on the horizon you can see the mountains rising towards the heights.

The trail is easy to walk and goes through a nice mixed forest where there are plenty of lingonberries and blueberries growing in late summer. The beginning of the hike can be a little wet so good shoes are recommended. Part of the hike goes along a small gravel road before you turn back onto a forest road and path. From the gravel road there is about 1 kilometer of path before you arrive at the top cabin at Hemberget. There is a barbecue area and overnight accommodation.

The trail is marked with black wooden signs and orange tape. Round trip the hike is 5 km.
