Start at Kristinehamn's guest harbor and walk along the water to Kristinehamn Herrgårdscamping.

There is lovely nature here with deciduous trees such as willow, birch, alder and hedge. The beach forest between Kristinehamn Arena and Kristinehamn Herrgårdscamping is a popular nesting area for many species of songbirds. Thanks to the dead deciduous trees and stumps, the lesser spotted woodpecker nests here.

In May and June, there is a lot to see and hear for those who are interested in birds. The birdsong is almost deafening in late May and early June.

The path through the beach forest reaches the lake at one point, where there is a small picnic area with a nice view of Varnumsviken.
