Dramatiska klippor och dolda bunkrar i Femöre

Join us on a bike ride to Femöre Nature Reserve - a magnificent peninsula just south of Oxelösund, where sea meets cliffs and history lies beneath the surface. With its rugged, wild beauty, the area has long been a favorite. In summer, many come here to swim from the cliffs. The same cliffs attract fishing or bird watching at other times of the year.

But Femöre hides more than beautiful views. Beneath the ground is a secret from the Cold War days - a nuclear-proof defense facility built in 1966. Here, 70 soldiers with three cannons were prepared to defend Bråviken against a possible invasion from the east. A perfect destination for history buffs, families with children and nature lovers.
