Description

On the Weather Islands, life revolves around the sea. Here you can spot seals and birds, fish for lobster and other shellfish and swim all year round. You can also hike around the island, learn about its exciting history and climb the old pilot lookout. Gaze out over the changing seascape from a rocky outcrop gently rounded by nature, then enjoy the wood-fired granite sauna or hot tub before a delicious meal in the inn's restaurant. The menu follows the sea and the changing seasons and tastes fantastic after a day in the fresh sea air.

Stay comfortably upstairs at the inn or in one of the small cottages around. Choose between different types of rooms and concepts. From comfortably bedded hotel rooms with breakfast to hostels with access to guest kitchens. In some of the rooms, pets are also welcome. Whatever you choose, you'll wake up to the sound of waves crashing on the rocks and fall asleep to a stunning sunset.

The journey out to Väderöarna takes you through Fjällbacka's beautiful archipelago, through the picturesque strait and across Väderöfjorden before the boat finally reaches the small harbor on Storö. Here you step ashore on the jetty directly at the inn and the magnificent surrounding nature.

The Väderö Islands archipelago consists of 365 small islets and islands, and together with the Koster Islands National Park, it is Sweden's most species-rich marine area. With 2099 hours of sunshine per year, these islands have one of Sweden's warmest but also windiest climates, which has shaped its characteristic nature and wildlife. Väderöarnas Värdshus is located on the small island of Storsö, which is also a nature reserve and offers nature lovers a plethora of exciting experiences, both above and below sea level.

You can travel to Väderöarnas Värdshus all year round, every season has its magic. Here you get really close to nature, its power and beauty. A place to long for and come back to.
