Description

The fifth stage of the Bohus Trail offers a beech forest walk in Bokedalen Nature Reserve. In spring, it is fabulously beautiful here, when the ground is covered by a sea of white anemones.

At Jonsered Manor, the trail splits into two different routes that meet again at the Freden croft. The land route, through the ravine landscape, provides a shorter walk of about 20 minutes.

The other route follows Aspen's beach. Here you walk in the magical old-growth forest. After about 45 minutes of walking, you will arrive at the croft.

From here, the trail continues north, over a suspension bridge between Stora and Lilla Ramsjön, towards Angered.

Bohusleden consists of 27 stages that offer a total of about 35 miles of varied hiking through Bohuslän's beautiful nature. The trail stretches from Älvsåker in the south, on the border with Halland, to Strömstad in the north.

Tips nr 1: Bohusledens femte etapp
