Barbecue area in Blomberg

The barbecue area at Blombergs badplats, located below Kinnekulle, is a well-equipped and easily accessible place for outdoor cooking in a lakeside environment. The area offers several fixed barbecues and fireplaces with associated benches, which creates good conditions for communal outdoor meals. For disposable grills, there are specially adapted bins directly adjacent to the barbecue areas.

Close to the barbecue area is Blomberg's bathing area, with a shallow and child-friendly bay that is well suited for swimming. Parking is available about 150 meters from the barbecue area, making the site easy to reach even for visitors with equipment. The combination of barbecue facilities, swimming and proximity to parking makes the area particularly attractive to families and larger groups.

In Sweden, we have the fantastic Right of Public Access (allemansrätten), but remember that it also comes with rules of conduct so that it can be preserved as wonderful as it is:

• Bring your own firewood; it is not allowed to break branches or twigs from trees
• Never light fires on bare rock surfaces
• Take everything you brought with you back home again
• Consider any fire bans; check this in advance
