Description

On Djäknerundan, it's easy to take the best summer vacation photos. This relatively easy hike is a classic in Karlsborg. Here you can experience Vättern's beautiful archipelago, old cultural landscapes and moss-green Tiveds forest. Welcome out! Djäknerundan is one of the most popular trails in Tiveden. This is not really surprising given the varied nature. The 11-kilometer trail starts and ends at the Granvik Visitor Center and follows simple forest roads and good paths. Alternatively, you can park at Stora Djäknasjön and start from there. Along the trail there are numbered information boards that tell you about the sights you meet. Among other things, you will walk past the huge oaks at Djäknatorp, the beautiful picnic area with shelter at Stora Djäknesjön, the giant pot on Jättaberget, the nature reserves Valekleven-Ombo islands and Håketjänarna. At the end of the trail, you can cool off in the shimmering green waters of Djäknesjön, considered by many to be the most spectacular swimming spot in Sweden. Remember to be careful of nature and pick up any rubbish to take home.
