Description
Venabäckens nature reserve consists of the winding Venabäcken with its surrounding marshland and forest. Both the water and the surrounding land are teeming with life. For example, the stream contains the county's largest collection of the rare and endangered river pearl mussel. There are also plenty of fish here, such as trout, burbot and grayling. You can see traces of the beaver's progress, including lodges, ponds and felled trees. The nature reserve is home to cabbage lichen, bluebells and ferns.
From the parking lot there is a 200 meter long path that leads to a barbecue area at Musseluddden. Otherwise, there are no landscaped paths, so everyone has to find their own way along the winding stream.

Riktigt trolsk miljö - rekommenderar att inte bara hålla sig till stigen utan utforska på egen hand. Ni kommer bli hänförda. Positivt att nya bänkar och bord har tillkommit efter påpekande till Länsstyrelsen. Bra jobbat. Finns mycket varg i området.🙂 Varg 🐺 Mvh Thomas
