Description

In Tååsen the forest is varied and wild. From the parking lot, you can walk or cycle on the road for 2 kilometers before you reach the reserve. There are no marked paths to follow in the area. It can be a challenge to walk around here as it quickly changes between rocky slopes and damp depressions and there are no marked trails. In the fall, you can find a lot of edible mushrooms, but make sure you don't get lost! There's plenty of wildlife here, you might spot a moose, red deer or wild boar if you sneak quietly against the wind.

Directions

Tååsen ligger 1 mil norr om Västerås. Följ skyltar mot väg 56, Gävle och Sala. Kör 8 kilometer och sväng sen vänster vid skylt Skultuna. Kör 3,5 kilometer. Sväng höger vid skylt Romfartuna k:a 4 och Kör 2 kilometer. På vänster sida av vägen finns en parkering, före bron över Kvarnbäcken.
