Description

Like an island full of trees, Lindöberget rises in the surrounding flat arable landscape. The mountain is about 25 meters high and on the slopes grow large old oaks and many hazel bushes. In spring there are plenty of bluebells and spring onions, nun's weed and bloodwort thrive here. Some oak trees are home to the rare needle-leaved lichen. There are also tall linden trees and groves of aspen on the knoll. The nature reserve consists of two parts, one the rocky knoll itself and the other a reed area in Lake Mälaren. The reeds are home to bitterns and bearded tits, and brown harriers often sail over the entire area in search of small rodents.

Around the mountain itself is a loop just over a kilometer long. If you climb the mountain, you get a good view of the tree tops and the sparkling water. There is a picnic area with benches and tables on the crest.

Ett fint ställe lite lagom anonymt sådär. Markeringen vid åkern har gett upp. Sittplats/bord finns utplacerat. Glöm inte att ta er högst upp till den övre rastplatsen också. Mvh Thomas
