Description
The cycle path lets you discover the charming village of Himmelsberga with, among other things, Torpa Church dating back to the 1100s. Further on gravel roads you pass E 20 and enter a small broken forest landscape. Before returning to Kungsör again, you pass Stengärdets nature reserve with, among other things, fine berry fields, shingle fields and clear springs in a primeval forest environment. The trail is 33 km long, and runs on both gravel and asphalt. With shorter detours you can reach bathing areas such as the one at Skillingeudd and Ekuddens camping. Drinking water can be refilled at Lockmora friluftsgård.
NOTE. During the summer of 2021, a small stretch of the trail will be redrawn from going along road 56 to being led along the forest path instead. Both these routes are now marked on the map.
