Hästmuseum Strömsholm - Slotts slingan

The Slotts loop is 1.1 km long and takes about 40 minutes to walk under the guidance of the narrator Karin Morgan. The loop runs partly on surfaces where you in some cases share the space with horse carriages. Remember to show consideration and kindness to each other. The trail runs from Knytpunkten to the stairs of Strömsholm Castle. Among other things, you will learn more about the royal ties to Strömsholm and hear the horse's toast. If you want to continue the walk, the Strömsholm Horse Museum and the Strömsholm Competitions section will take you to the castle staircase and guide you further out to Österängarna. A distance of about 1.2 km.

The app Hästmuseum Strömsholm is free to both download and listen to. All trails except the Strömsholm Competitions trail start at Knytpunkten in the stable back area. The visitor can choose to start a loop anywhere and walk it counter-clockwise, for example, but then some logic may be lost. The storyteller takes the visitor on interesting walks spiced with facts, anecdotes and humorous stories from the past, present and future. As the trails are guided by GPS, it is not possible to listen to the stories without being at the current GPS point.
