Description

In Frösåker, the terrain is hilly and on the heights you have a good view of Lake Mälaren. There are both coniferous and deciduous forests and farmland. In the fall, there are plenty of mushrooms to pick. There are four different hiking trails that take you around the varied landscape, they are between 0.9 and 7 kilometers long. Along the trails there are several shelters with fireplaces. A suggestion for those who want to rest with a nice view of Granfjärden is to walk over the footbridges in the reeds in the southern part of the nature reserve and get out to the peninsula Kalven. If you're lucky, you might see the rare hazel snakes here.

The City of Västerås is responsible for Frösåker, telephone number 021-39 00 00, e-mail kontaktcenter@vasteras.se.

Vi gick den röda leden vilket var trevlig. Den var väldigt kupperad, mycket rötter och sten att gå på.
