Fäbostigen vandring

Located outside Näsåker in Sollefteå municipality, in Åsmon. The trail starts at the Kägelvallen festival site.

The historic hiking trail from Åsmon to Moflobodarna begins here. About a mile along varied country roads and in varied forest terrain, on cleared paths and over bogs.

The pasture was used during the 18th century and well into the 20th century by local farmers. Signs tell about places and events in the area, some are fairy tales, others are based on reality.

From the main road in Norrmoflo through the forest - the so-called Fäbostigen - the distance is about seven kilometers. Good walking shoes and a water bottle are recommended. The total ascent is close to 300 meters.

At the final destination, Moflobodarna, there is a resting hut, fireplace and toilet. You can also get there by car if, for example, you want a pick-up to avoid walking the way back.
