Tärnaleden från Tärnaby Fjällhotell via Tärnaby Camping och Solberg - anslutningsled till Kungsleden

Tärnaleden is one of our fantastic local trails that we have on our doorstep. Tärnaleden is surrounded by Laxfjället and Gautafjället, which are two small complete mountains.

The trail starts at Tärnaby Fjällhotell. Follow Östra Strandvägen east. Turn left just after the infirmary and follow Bergsvägen a bit. At the sharp bend, leave Bergsvägen and turn right along Tärnaleden. Then just keep walking until you reach the road next to Tärnaby Camping. On the other side of the road, Tärnaleden continues to Solberg.

From Tärnaby Camping there is a nice, scenic path along the Tärnaån river to the holiday home area in Solberg. The path is wide and easily accessible up to the suspension bridge on the west side of the river and it is considered handicap-friendly up to the suspension bridge about 2.5 kilometers upstream. The suspension bridge has also been rebuilt to allow wheelchairs and prams to cross.

On the other side of the suspension bridge there is a nice sandy beach.

The trail is shared between hikers and cyclists so please be considerate.

If you are coming from Tärnaby, turn left when you reach Solbergsvägen. Follow the road and then turn right and follow the road that goes up to the former Fjällgården. Signposted. From the parking lot up at the former Fjällgården (Enter Solberg in the Nature Map) the trail continues and connects to Kungsleden.
