Elljusspåret and Storbäcksspåret Hemavan

Elljusspåret and Storbäcksspåret are located down in the mountain birch forest and are nice trails in slightly hilly terrain.

2 km. Electric light trail. Skate and classic. Moderately demanding.

6.3 km. Storbäcksspåret. Daylight trail. Marked only in winter.

An easily accessible exercise trail that can be said to be medium demanding on the lower scale. You start from the electric loop in Hemavan, where there are parking lots in two different places. Storbäcksspåret initially runs relatively flat to the east with elements of smaller slopes where the birch forest dominates with its associated marsh landscape. A shelter for the coffee break is located at Storbäcken along the track before it reconnects to the electric loop. In 2023, the route of the Storbäcks trail was changed by the village association. The aim is to make the trail more accessible and less exposed to the elements.

Prepared by Storuman municipality. With the voluntary trail fee, you contribute, among other things, to extended preparation during holidays and major weekends. This also includes Kobåset and the tracks in Tärnaby.

All year round, all motorized vehicles and horses are forbidden to be on the track.
